Literacy Learning OpportunitiesThe following are two web sites that are offered through Houghton Mifflin that provide information and opportunities, not only to parents, but also students. The first is www.eduplace.com. This is an informative site that outlines Houghton Mifflin's programs. The second is www.bookadventure.org. This page is like Accelerated Reader, in the fact that the students read a book on their own and then take a comprehension test. The main differences are that Houghton Mifflin has a corporate sponsored incentive program, where students receive prizes for points earned and the tests are online. Check them out and enjoy!
